DESTINATION LANARKSHIRE! Lanarkshire positioned as one of Scotlands top locations to hold corporate events or weddings

Lanarkshire Tourism Marketing Partnership has been ahead of the game when promoting the region as a premier destination in Scotland for corporate events. The group was exhibiting at The Main Event last Thursday, which brought together the best of Scotland’s events suppliers under one roof for the first time at Glasgow’s SECC.
With substantial investment throughout the region over the last few years the group wanted to highlight to attendees the abundance of quality venues in which to hold meetings, conferences or weddings.
These included The Westerwood Hotel which has just completed a £14 million refurbishment to make it is a combination of an opulent four-star hotel and golfing paradise, set within 400 acres of woodland. The new Dakota Eurocentral Hotel was identified as a key setting for events also after being named Scotland’s most stylish hotel at the Scottish Style Awards.
